CUT
Re-cut a drum loop into a new groove, without stretching a single hit.
Drop in a drum loop. CUT slices it on the beat and rewires the slices into a new pattern that follows your project's tempo. Every move is drawn as a line from where a slice was to where it plays now.

What it does
The parts that make CUT different, in plain words.
A new groove from the same loop
Four ways to re-cut: Straight, Local, Uniform and Form. Form remembers phrases and brings them back (AABA and other shapes), so the changes return like a real part.
See it, then drag it
Each slice is a numbered box with a line to where it plays. Drag the boxes to rewire by hand, or press Dice for a fresh take. The same Seed (1–999) gives the same cut every time; keep a take in favourites A–D.
Tight at any tempo
No time-stretching: each slice plays from its own start, so hits stay crisp. Groove keeps the loop's original feel, or lets it go. Drag 8 bars out as audio.
Pads for live moves
Twelve pads that act while held: reverse, half, stop, filter, echo, crush, gate, tape, space, up, jet and pump. Pitch play adds tape stop, dive and wobble. CUT FX re-cuts a track's incoming audio on the spot, with the same pads except half.

Questions
Which time signatures does it work in?
Made for 4/4 (in other time signatures it still cuts in groups of four beats).
Can I use CUT on Windows?
Yes. CUT runs on Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) as a VST3 plug-in and a standalone app; CUT FX as VST3. One purchase covers both Mac and Windows.
CUT FX plays out of time with my project. Doesn't it follow the project tempo?
It does: CUT FX cuts on your project's beats, but it never stretches the sound, so the audio on its track has to play in the project's tempo first. How to do that in Ableton Live, Logic Pro and REAPER: https://frondgrid.com/support/#cut-fx-tempo
