Choose your drum map
Use the AD2 standard map or GM map with your drum instrument. Assign your own instruments to keys and bass.

Line up the matching IDs
Place matching drums, keys and bass at the same bar start. Use the indicated eight- or sixteen-bar length, with extra quantization off.
- 03
Replace the ending with a fill
Replace the final one or two drum bars with the matching fill. Return to the next groove at the following bar.

Are the preview sounds included?
The product contains MIDI and guides. Preview audio is an example arrangement; no drum or keyboard instruments, presets or audio files are included. Use your own software instruments.
Are tempo and meter included?
The standard edition includes the original BPM and 4/4 at the start, with no changes during the clip. Use the ProjectSafe edition without tempo or meter events to keep an existing session tempo. Import behavior varies by DAW. Match the clip length to the filename.
Should I use AD2 or GM?
Choose AD2 for the Addictive Drums 2 standard map, or GM for a General MIDI drum map. Custom mappings and some instruments require note adjustments. Import and playback have not yet been verified in every DAW or instrument.
Can I combine keys and bass from different patterns?
Start with matching IDs to hear their shared timing. When mixing IDs, check the key in the included catalog and transpose as needed.
